While many are celebrating Independence Day, or July 4th – I am celebrating Dependence Day. I am no longer independent. I am fully dependent on God. I am no longer running on my own, demanding to have things my way…

I have given up on my way. I am now choosing His way over mine. His way is the highway! The highway of holiness, yes indeed, and that is the best path to travel! There is no other joy or satisfaction found anywhere else!

There is so much freedom that comes from being dependent on the Lord. He is so faithful and will meet your each and every need. You will always have a friend. You will always have someone to count on. You will never be alone!
