I was sitting here tonight watching a video from a meeting with Rodney Howard Browne. Rodney is famous for his meetings being full of laughter and the joy of the Holy Spirit. This may look a bit chaotic to you if you have never been in these types of meetings or services before.

I grew up going to a pretty charismatic church in Alabama with my parents. It was non-denominational, but it was what most Christians refer to as Spirit-filled, meaning that they believe and operate in the presence and gifts of the Holy Spirit. (yes, this includes praying in tongues!)

So many people are unfamiliar with this type of thing, but if you are unfamiliar, or if you think it looks chaotic, let me tell you that I used to believe the same way! I always thought the people falling down were faking it! I am 100% skeptic, or at least I was as a young boy, and even into my teens and twenties. It wasn’t until it happened to me that I started to believe! You can’t deny it is real when you’re the one falling!

God made a believer out of me!
