Mighty Man Allen is on staff at Mighty Man Ministry in Davisboro, Georgia. He lives on the 150+ acre farm where the ministry resides, and is very involved in the recovery process of each participant. It is his mission to lead everyone he knows into a deeper, more intimate relationship with God. Allen was ordained in 2014 by the church he went to growing up, and has been a Spirit-filled, born-again believer in Jesus Christ since 1999.

As someone who is a recovering addict, he has also been through the Mighty Man Ministry process of regeneration. Upon graduation, he chose to commit to stay and give back to the ministry that helped him with his own recovery. He loves working in addiction recovery, sharing his faith with others in the process, and putting his skills to work for the ministry. He is able to help because he has been there, and can relate well to others who are caught in the snares of addiction.

He has been employed in graphic design and tech during his professional career, with some formal art training as well. He was an art major at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama before moving to Georgia in 2020. He has also recently been studying cybersecurity at WGU.

When he isn’t teaching class, or sitting in front of a computer, he enjoys learning new design skills, writing content for his blog or forthcoming book, listening to or creating music or podcasts, and cooking. He also loves to read, especially books by early church fathers, desert fathers, or Christian mystics. He is also a big fan of the Orthodox zine’ for punk rockers, “Death to the World”.
